We are delighted to announce that three generous donors stepped forward to support this year’s Metroplex Literacy Conference on its 20th anniversary, donating $2,250 in total.
The MLC was started by HOPE Literacy and its partners to provide better training to volunteers serving in church-based ESL programs. That quickly expanded to include a wider audience of teachers serving in ISDs and federally-funded programs. The conference attracts over 100 adult literacy program volunteers and directors each year.
The support we received this year opens new doors to expand our reach, provide a higher quality experience, and to maintain a low cost, amidst rising costs, so more teachers can benefit from the high-quality professional development opportunities.
HOPE Literacy and the Metroplex Literacy conference thanks the following sponsors for their generous support.
