Volunteer Appreciation Dinner 2025

We had a blast at this year's Volunteer Appreciation Dinner! Sixty attendees enjoyed delicious Mexican food provided by Scott Carroll and Perfect Pair catering. One of our newest sites, Citylight Church Spanish Congregation in north Fort Worth led us in bilingual worship.

Board chair and former immigrant from Kenya James Ochuka encouraged us with a message from the story of the Good Samaritan and spoke on the importance of continuing to serve our neighbors, even at our own expense and inconvenience.

We also enjoyed great fellowship and an opportunity to network among the churches and volunteers serving our immigrant communities all throughout the DFW area.
